I am a casual Kpopper I guess you could say. I watch from the sidelines, give my opinion on whatever I feel the need to and I’m not afraid of anyone because they disagree with me. In fact, I encourage disagreement. I refuse to get myself into any fandoms just because I’ve seen all the fanwars and petty things that go on.
Some fans are delusional, crazy, psycho, and need a social life so they can get off the computer every once in a while.
I can guarantee that someone will say, Well why do you care?
I care because I deal with having to see these things go one which interrupt my enjoyment of being a casual fan.
Why don’t you just stop listening to Kpop?
I have a right to listen to whatever I want regardless of what others say. I like listening to it, just because someone makes it hard for me to enjoy it doesn’t mean I must run far far away. Point blank.
Fans will be fans. Not question about that. Not all are crazy and delusional or obsessive and possessive. Some actually do know that there’s thing called reality and in this world of reality, -said group- is not the best thing to walk the earth or bless their ears. -Said group- can have competition and will have competition. Not everyone will like -said group- and no one is required to.
Because the Kpop world seems to be saturated with immature fans, I run into this quite often. Some are so engrossed in kpop that their delusional level is not even comprehensible. Literally their world revolves around it. Their social life dies. Their emotions are completely dependent on it and they make rash decision (ahem stalking) because of it. Some will get so angry that they can only spew out profanity in their defense when you make a slightly negative comment about -said group- or attach several links of -said group- to make you take back your statement.
What I think people fail to realize is we are all individuals. We have different facial features, different personalities, and different interests. Therefore it should not surprise people that we all have different opinions which thus could lead to us liking different groups.
Which is perfectly alright.
What fans need to learn is to accept that fact, and move on.
So do you think I’m any of those things… I just wanted some peace… delusional fans scare me the most… and I for one am most definitely not
I’m sorry but I think you misinterpreted my post. It isn’t directed towards you or anyone specifically but just a general opinion that I have formed.
I know what you mean…. I see some really crazy ish on the web these days and it amazes me how obsessive these girls can be. I have a my fangirl moments but nothing like that …. I wasn’t really asking I was just wanting to clarify things… Sorry if I made you think otherwise.
Oh okay I think it was me who misinterpreted your comment! Sorry ^.^ But yes, some fans, not all, are too obsessive and possessive for my taste and I wish at times I could eliminate that part of kpop.
I like your blog I like your honesty
Thank you ^.^ I hope you continue to read my blog!
i totally agree. Some fans forget their own sense of reality and use kpop as too much of a crutch to their real life problems.
i think fan wars are such a waste of time. >.>
btw, i love your blog. ^^
Right, some fans need to remember that kpop is not the biggest thing in life. Just an aspect. Fan wars are meaningless to me, people are fighting for just their self, they aren’t protecting or supporting the artist imo.
Thank you I hope you continue to read my blog ^.^
