I cannot get enough of this.

Yes I was on a long hiatus, which I never mentioned, but school is finally winding down and more time will be available for me to do some blogging. This blog is quite empty but it’ll be up and running again soon. My returning post is for a later date but this is just  spur of the moment post.

I think it’s a good thing Heart2Heart disbanded.

First thing first, I don’t necessarily hope you know who Heart2Heart was. Trust me, you didn’t exactly miss anything by not knowing them. But rest assured, I will show you Heart2Heart’s first and last single.

However if you like the single, sadly you will no longer be hearing from them.

I don’t even know where to start with this. But I will say, it is not because they aren’t Korean/Japanese/Asian that I dislike the video and the song. Because I can promise you, if Infinite or even any other kpop gorup sang some crap like that, I would ignore that single like it never even existed. Just no. The song probably makes more sense than some of the catchier kpop songs fans listen to, but I’m still questioning the lyrics. I must say, I don’t and never will get a Facebook so maybe that’s why I don’t understand. And yes, let me reiterate. The song is indeed called Facebook Official.

FB chat popping on my Mac.

I like your status, two thumbs up.

I met you last week when you played flip cup.

I’m not even going there.

Put a heart on your page, a heart on your page

Let’s make it official.

Baby you and me, you and me

Facebook official.

Mmmhmm. It was actually killing me to copy the lyrics, so I must stop. Last word on the video, they shouldn’t lie. That was a pitiful dance break.

As you may be able to tell, I am almost at a loss of words. I wish I could unsee that video, unfortunately I cannot. Sad day. On a happier note I guess, the group has disbanded. I don’t know when they did nor do I really care. But that wasn’t the supposed happy note. Chad, on of former member of Heart2Heart has decided to go solo. Why does this pertain to my blog? Because his single will be in Korean. I just made a post about it so I thought this post would be a nice introductory post for dearest Chad.

[Song of Week] What Makes You Beautiful {One Direction} & Still in Love {CNBlue}

In my real life, like outside my blog life, no one knows about my fondness of kpop. Therefore I’m always introduced into new music. One Direction happens to be a group that I’m really getting into. A friend let me borrow their album and I love it, the songs that is. The group, eh not so much. I’m too used to Asians lol ^.^ I’m so tired of people saying “yada yada you didn’t like them from the beginning blah blah”, well I’m sorry I wasn’t a fan from the beginning. That’s how people get into liking groups or even a solo artist, they like one song and go search for the others.

Anyway.

And of course I love CNBlue’s latest album,  especially Still in Love. Stabirabi Rapststabira….

Akanishi Jin seems to be getting on his feet now.

As most know, Akanishi has ventured into the American market. I was quite skeptical at first and to be honest I still am. I think he has the potential to do well but I can’t say he’ll do great. I’d like for him to prove me wrong.

His first released single, Test Drive, disappointed me. I  really felt as if it were a waste of time. Song was mediocre and Jin was barely present in the video. I have actually put off watching his second single, Sun Burns Down, for a couple of days now. But watching it now, I feel as if he has taken some steps forward. His English is pretty much understandable now, which is a plus. The song is catchy, not feeling the video though. I wish Akanishi would show himself some more. I feel like he’s hiding himself at the moment.

Moves Like Kpop?

I don’t typically listen to mash ups but this was pretty good. The tracklist includes: 2NE1 (투애니원) – Hate You, 2PM – Hands Up, 4Minute (포미닛) – Mirror Mirror (거울아 거울아), After School (애프터스쿨) – Shampoo, B1A4 (비원에이포) – O.K., … Continue reading

Don’t Wanna Try Covers

I love this song by itself. I love most of Frankie J’s songs anyway. But I’ve found quite a few covers to this song.

I actually liked Niel’s voice here. I usually get annoyed by it, but I really liked it here. Not to mention L.Joe’s amazing piano skills :)

I don’t usually hear Nichkhun’s singing voice often.

Don’t you just love his Engrish? And I just favor Taeyang’s voice.
