DBSK Challenge: Day Seven

Sorry guys, I haven’t been in the mood to post anything lately. School is stressing me out. As you see my posts have become less frequent…

Day 7 – A DBSK song you know all the words to

Yay I can do a Japanese song. So I’m going to go with, Doushite Kimi wo Suki Ni Natte Shimattan Darou. That title is too long. I actually thought they were a jpop group here.

Changing Biases in Kpop

So we all have our favorite members in kpop groups. Maybe it’s the most popular guy in the group or the shy and quiet one people tend to forget but we all have them. It actually took me a while to figure out my biases in groups but I’ve got it down now. My ultimate bias is Jaejoong~ which is pretty evident.

What really annoys me about people and their bias is not how delusional they get with them (surprisingly) but how possessive people get. Kpop groups (and pretty much any other groups) have a lot of fans. Like thousands of fans. I don’t understand why people must get possessive over idols they have never met. For example, I was reading KPop Secrets (which I get plenty of inspiration from to write posts) and someone was mad (or as they like to say “butthurt”) over the fact that their bias began to get a lot of fans or people claiming him as their bias after he was in a drama when she (I am assuming) always thought of him as her bias from the beginning.

First of all,  it is very possible to change your mind. Like extremely possible. Therefore it doesn’t surprise me that people change their biases every now and then. Sometimes someone starts looking better or they grow up. Instead of this person being glad that their idol has gotten more fans, she would rather complain. I don’t see why it’s such a problem to change your bias or who you like. It sort of like how after DBSK broke up or split people started noticing Changmin. Some fans argue that they are true fans because they liked him from the beginning. Bottom line in that case is that it is undeniable that after JYJ left, you could actually see Changmin shine.

When you start getting into kpop and biases, it gets real complicated.
